Dr. Weeks is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. After completing his residency in obstetrics and gynecology with the Navy, he served for three years as an OB/GYN in the Navy Medical Corp. He then completed a maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at University of California Irvine and Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. Dr. Weeks has 30 years of private practice and academic medicine experience during which he has been recognized for excellence in research, patient care and teaching.
In 2014 Dr. Weeks became board certified in addiction medicine. In 2015 he partnered with Norton Healthcare to create a new treatment model for pregnant women with substance use disorders. To date, the Norton Maternal Opiate & Substance Treatment Program, “the MOST Program”, has evaluated and treated over 1,000 women suffering from opioid, benzodiazepine, alcohol and methamphetamine use disorders.
